


Because Voice over IP depends entirely on the IP part we therefore provide our own broadband specifically for our service. Conventional ADSL packages are designed for you to access the internet via it's various technologies such as web pages, e-mail, news groups, ftp etc. None of those technologies stop working if they happen to be running a bit slowly, all that happens is the web page takes longer to load or your email takes longer to send or receive. With VoIP though, this is not the case and what you can experience is a degradation in the quality of the service.
To use VoIP successfully you ideally need an ADSL package or better, that is specifically "shaped" and prioritised for VoIP traffic. That is exactly what our service does.
