Voicemail Alerts via Email is exactly as it's name suggests, however the service also allows you to hear the message instantly.

The service sends an email containing message details and an encoded sound file that can be played on a computer to the registered extension's email address. This allows you to access your voicemail from any computer where you have access to your email.

FTP alerts - FTP alerts allow you to have voicemail messages delivered to your server via the FTP protocol. This is ideal for use with dictation software, so if you are taking telephone orders this provides the ideal solution!

SMS Alerts - It is also possible to be alerted via SMS once an new voicemail message has been received. See SMS Alerts for more informaiton;

This service is automatically activated when you register an account. You can specify if you wish to only receive a text notification with or without a encoded sound file. This option is handy if you only access your email through a slow internet connection.

To enable FTP alerts, login to the control panel and select 'Voicemail' and the 'Alerts' option.
