Features & Functionality
everything explained
VoiceHost VoIP allows you to make telephone calls using a computer network, over a data network like the Internet. VoIP converts the voice signal from your telephone into a digital signal that travels over the internet then converts it back at the other end so you can speak to anyone with a regular phone number.

Remote access allows you to call almost any destination in the world for lower costs than on standard telephony equipment. This is achieved by dialling a UK access number, 01603 34 36 38 which is included in many land line and mobile call package inclusive minutes.

Once you have dialled in and authenticated you can dial the mobile, local or international number you would like to call and the system routes the call as if you were using a VoIP phone.

This means that you can call international destinations for as little as 1p or free if the destination is using VoiceHost. Of course you will still be paying for the connection to the remote access number, however calls usually work out much cheaper than calling directly via the standard telephone network!

How do I use the feature?

The system uses your phones Caller ID number to authenticate you on the system along with a PIN number. To access the system you must configure access for your phone from with in the control panel. Once you have logged into the VoiceHost control panel you can select the 'Remote Access' icon and authenticate as many numbers as you require.

Once you have added all the numbers you wish grant access to the remote access system you can use the system by calling 01603 34 36 38 and following the spoken prompts!
