Features & Functionality
everything explained
VoiceHost VoIP allows you to make telephone calls using a computer network, over a data network like the Internet. VoIP converts the voice signal from your telephone into a digital signal that travels over the internet then converts it back at the other end so you can speak to anyone with a regular phone number.

There are an ever increasing number of Wi-Fi access points, some are now free to connect to and use!

Since VoIP only needs a connection to the internet you can now make calls using wireless internet access. There are also Wi-Fi phones that can connect to Wi-Fi hotspots without the need of a computer and allow you to connect to the VoiceHost network directly.

If you use a softphone and a wireless enabled laptop you could use your phone from any location across the world to make free phone calls!

How do I use the feature?

To make a call using a Wi-Fi network just connect to an available network and start using the service as normal! Please note that some Wi-Fi networks may charge for access to their service. If you are an IPhone user and have the free Fring App installed click here to learn how to configure it
