Snom Configuration
Space

To configure your Snom telephone connect it to your router using the provided RJ45 cable. Attach the power lead and switch on.

Your phone will now boot and display its extension. If you are using DHCP on your network, the IP address will also be displayed. Take a note of this.

If you did not have enough time to take note of the IP address you can display it againg by using the arrow keys located to the left and right of the 'OK' key to navigate through the Snom menu. Scroll through the menu until you get to the 'Information' menu, select the 'OK' key to go into this menu. Once more use the arrow keys to locate the 'IPAdr', click the 'OK' key and the IP Address should now be displayed on the screen.

Now you have obtained the IP address you can enter this address in a web browser to access the web configuration page.

Once you are in the web configuration page select 'Line 1' from the left hand menu. The following screen will be displayed. On this screen enter the information below.

Once the above details have been entered select the save button to complete the setup process.

Once the phone registers, you will be able to start making calls.

To check you are connected to the VoiceHost network dial '1234' which will play you a welcome message.

Now you have setup your device, you can make calls in the normal way.

Remember you need to dial the full number including the area code.
