After you have logged into the router, please select the 'VoIP' option on the left hand menu. After clicking this option, a few sub-menu's are shown, select the 'VoIP Accounts' sub-menu. You will be shown the screen below:

Sip Accounts

Select 'Index 1' from the list, you will be presented with the following screen:

SIP Account 1

Please enter the VoiceHost details as above replacing '<NAME>' with your own name and '<Account No>' with your extensions number and also enter the correct password for your extension. Please make sure if you only wish one of your VoIP ports to ring when an incoming call is received, only select 'VoIP1' or 'VoIP2' when defining 'Ring Port' above.

Once you have entered and confirmed all of the details, select OK. Your device should then register to our service and show an 'R' in the 'Status' column.

The final stage in configuring your DrayTek router is configuring the phone settings, to do this select 'Phone Settings' submenu, you will be shown the following screen:

Phone Index

Select the preferred codec as 'G.711a' from the 'Prefer Codec' list, select the 'Default SIP Account' as '1-VoiceHost'. Tick the 'Play dial tone only when account registered', this feature is helpful if you phone has not registered to the VoiceHost service as it gives you an audible alert when you lift the handset. If your device is not registered, you will be unable to receive incoming calls!

If you wish to enable 'Call Waiting' and 'Call Transfer' features this can also be done from this screen.

Once you have configured the phone settings you should now be ready to start making and receiving calls.

To check you are connected to the VoiceHost network dial '1234' which will play you a welcome message.

Now you have setup your device, you can make calls in the normal way.

Remember you need to dial the full number including the area code. For example if your local area code is '01603' this must be dialed before any local number can be called.
