To configure your Linksys ATA you must access the device via a web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox. To begin configuration, connect your ATA to your router or switch using the supplied cable. Power on the ATA an wait for the power light to come on and stay constant. Connect your telephone to Line 1 of the ATA.
Using your telephone keypad, dial the following to obtain the address of the ATA:
1) '****' (Four Stars), you will hear 'Linksys Configuration Menu'
2) Enter '110'
3) Take note of the address, this will normally take the form '192.168.x.x' where 'x' is a number between '0' and '255'.
Once you have the address, enter this into a browser like 'http://192.168.x.x' and hit 'Enter'. You will be show the Linksys device menu. Select the 'Voice' tab and then select 'Admin User', additional tabs will appear. Select the 'Line 1' tab to configure the first line on the ATA. The Line screen will look like the following screen:

To configure Line 1 of the ATA, enter the following details:
Proxy: sip.voicehost.co.uk
Register: yes
Register Expires: 60
Display Name: <Your Name>
User ID: <Extension Username (1XXXX*2XX)>
Password: <Extension Password>
Once you have entered the above information, click 'Submit All Changes'. Your ATA should reboot and your device should register with the VoiceHost service. If registration is successful, the 'Line 1' light will be lit on the ATA. If so, try dialing 1234 to listen to the welcome message.
If you wish to configure additional lines on the ATA, you will need to add additional extensions in your VoiceHost control panel. Once you have the username and password for the new extensions, you can enter these into 'Line 2' of the ATA.
